32X
The Sega 32X is an add-on manufactured by Sega and released in November 1994. It was designed to bring 32-bit processing power and improved graphics to the Sega Genesis. The 32X offered enhanced visuals and 3D polygon rendering. Popular titles for the system included Doom, Virtua Fighter, and Star Wars Arcade. Over its short lifespan, only around 40 games were released. While the 32X failed commercially due to its limited library and the upcoming Sega Saturn, it remains a notable part of Sega’s history.
