Our goal is to make a timeless, accurate, and searchable ROM database to preserve these files for future generations. These are the next tasks to achieve this:
New tasks
- Upload all ROMs to file hosts such as MEGA, Pixeldrain and more. This will give users more flexible download options and help with the preservation of the files.
- Upload all ROMs to our own managed file hosting. This will give users another reliable method for downloading the files.
- Complete regular maintenance and cleanup of all ROMs and file hosts to minimize inaccurate information and broken links.
- Create multiple cloud backups of all ROM files to ensure our own preservation of the ROMs.
- Add any missing ROM files and/or consoles not currently in the database. This includes ROMs in different regions/languages.
- Publish guides for running ROMs on emulators on popular operating systems: Windows, Android, Mac and iOS.
