3DO Interactive Multiplayer
3DO is a home console developed by The 3DO Company and released in October 1993. It was designed as a high-end multimedia system with 32-bit processing and support for CDs, offering advanced graphics and sound for its time. Popular titles for the 3DO included Gex, Need for Speed, and Road Rash. Despite its innovative features, the 3DO was a commercial failure due to its high price and competition from other consoles, with around 200 titles released during its lifespan.
