Atari 5200
Atari 5200 is a home console manufactured by Atari and released in November 1982. It was designed as a more powerful successor to the Atari 2600, with better graphics and sound. However, it lacked compatibility with the Atari 2600’s game library, which hurt its success. Popular titles for the Atari 5200 included Pac-Man, Space Dungeon, and Super Breakout. Around 70 games were released during its lifespan. Despite its improvements, the 5200 was not commercially successful, and production ended after just two years.
