Game Boy Color (GBC)

Game Boy Color, also known as GBC, is a handheld console manufactured by Nintendo and released in October 1998. It introduced color graphics to the Game Boy line while remaining compatible with original Game Boy games. Popular titles for the Game Boy Color included Pokémon Gold/Silver, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. Around 900 titles were released during its lifespan. The Game Boy Color was well-received, bridging the gap between the original Game Boy and the Game Boy Advance.
