Game Gear
Game Gear is a handheld console manufactured by Sega and released in October 1990. It was designed with a full-color backlit screen, setting it apart from its competitors. Popular titles for the Game Gear included Sonic the Hedgehog, Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya, and Columns. During its lifespan, around 300 titles were released. While the Game Gear was praised for its features, it struggled against the Game Boy due to its short battery life and bulky size.
