MSX2

MSX2 is an upgraded version of the MSX platform, developed by Microsoft and ASCII Corporation and released in 1986. It introduced improved graphics and sound capabilities. Popular titles for the MSX2 included Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Aleste, and Vampire Killer. The MSX2 maintained popularity in Japan and certain regions, but was eventually overtaken by more advanced platforms.
