Nintendo 64DD (N64DD)
Nintendo 64DD, also known as N64DD, is an add-on for the Nintendo 64 manufactured by Nintendo and released in December 1999, exclusively in Japan. It was designed to allow for expanded storage using rewritable magnetic discs, enabling features like game editing and online connectivity. Popular titles for the N64DD included F-Zero X Expansion Kit and Mario Artist: Paint Studio. However, only 10 titles were released for the platform before it was discontinued. The 64DD was a commercial failure but remains an interesting piece of Nintendo history.
