Sega CD
Sega CD is an add-on manufactured by Sega and released in December 1991. It was designed to add CD-ROM capabilities to the Sega Genesis, allowing for more storage and higher-quality audio. Popular titles for the Sega CD included Sonic CD, Lunar: The Silver Star, and Night Trap. Around 150 titles were released during its lifespan. While the Sega CD introduced innovative features, its commercial performance was underwhelming due to its high price and limited library.
