SG-1000
SG-1000 is a home console manufactured by Sega and released in July 1983. It was Sega’s first attempt at a home video game console, offering simple 8-bit graphics and a limited game library. Popular titles for the SG-1000 included Congo Bongo, Flicky, and Girl’s Garden. During its short lifespan, around 70 games were released. The SG-1000 saw moderate success in Japan but was quickly overshadowed by more advanced systems like the Nintendo Famicom.
