TurboGrafx-CD

TurboGrafx-CD is an add-on for the TurboGrafx-16, developed by NEC and released in 1988. It was designed to add CD-ROM capabilities, allowing for larger and more complex games with enhanced audio. Popular titles for the TurboGrafx-CD included Ys Book I & II, Lords of Thunder, and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. The system was moderately successful in Japan but struggled to gain traction in North America, with around 100 titles released.
