Wii U
Wii U is a home console manufactured by Nintendo and released in November 2012. It featured a touchscreen GamePad controller, enabling unique gameplay experiences and second-screen capabilities. Popular titles for the Wii U included Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Around 770 titles were released during its lifespan. Despite some critically acclaimed games, the Wii U struggled commercially, but it laid the foundation for the highly successful Nintendo Switch.
