Xbox
Xbox is a home console manufactured by Microsoft and released in November 2001. It was designed with an internal hard drive and support for broadband internet, marking Microsoft’s entry into the gaming market. The Xbox introduced online multiplayer gaming through its Xbox Live service. Popular titles for the Xbox included Halo: Combat Evolved, Fable, and Forza Motorsport. During its lifespan, around 1,000 titles were released. The Xbox was a moderate commercial success and helped establish Microsoft as a key player in the gaming industry, laying the foundation for future Xbox consoles.
